What gets us up in the morning

Ikigai (生き甲斐) is Japanese for the thing that gets you up in the morning. For Your Ikigai, that's helping the businesses that need it most, and being there when they succeed.

We're engineers with over 20 years in software, an in-house design studio, and a bench of senior developers we've vetted and worked with. The engineers build the architecture and the code. The studio designs the brand, the interface and the words. Every project has a named technical lead, and no account managers in between.

There's a Japanese phrase for how we got here: okagesama de (お陰様で), "thanks to you". No business gets anywhere on its own. The clients who trusted us early, the colleagues who taught us, and the friends and families behind the team are part of everything we build. It sits alongside kenkyo (謙虚), humility: remembering who helped, and doing the same for the next business.

Humble doesn't mean cheap. We know what we're good at, our prices are published, and if we're not the right fit for your project, you'll hear it on the first call.
