We map the process you actually run, not the one on the org chart. You click through screens before we write the real thing, because a prototype is cheaper to change than a database. Then we build, with tests on everything and a senior developer signing off every change, and you see progress weekly rather than at the end.
Launch is the start. We stay on to measure, fix and extend, on the same monthly plans as our embedded developers.

Honestly, it depends on scope, which is why we quote a fixed price after a discovery conversation rather than publishing a rate. As a guide, a recent full design and build came in around £7,500 + VAT. Larger systems run on monthly plans so the cost is predictable.
Off the shelf for anything generic: email, accounts, payroll. Bespoke for the process that makes you different and that no existing tool quite fits. We will tell you if we think you should buy rather than build.
You do, from the first commit. It lives in your repository on your accounts. If you walked away tomorrow you would have everything.
