What SEO means here, and what it doesn't
It does not mean a monthly report full of green arrows and a list of keywords nobody searches for. It means building a site that answers the questions your buyers actually ask, in a way search engines can read, and then giving it time and attention.
Practically, that is: a page map planned around real intent before any design happens; server-rendered HTML with proper structure and schema; fast pages; internal links that make sense; and a plan for what gets written after launch. Rankings for anything competitive take months. We say that on the first call rather than the sixth.
We know because we have done it to ourselves. This site was rebuilt to rank for the things we actually do, after years of ranking for nothing at all.
