Who we are

This site is run by YOUR IKIGAI LTD, trading as Your Ikigai, a company registered in England and Wales (No. 15274889) with its registered office at 86-90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE. We're the data controller for the personal data described here. For anything privacy related, email hello@your-ikigai.co.uk.

What you send us

When you use one of our forms (contact, cost estimate, testimonial or a resource download) we receive what you type in: usually your name, email address, company and message or answers. It goes to our own business system so we can reply, follow up on the project you asked about, or, for testimonials, use your words in the way you gave permission for.

Our legal basis is legitimate interest: you've asked us something and we need your details to answer. We don't sell your data or add you to a mailing list you didn't ask for. We keep enquiries for as long as they're useful to the conversation or any work that follows, and delete them sooner if you ask.

Booking a call

Our booking page uses Microsoft's "Book with me" calendar and calls take place on Microsoft Teams, so the details you enter when booking are handled by Microsoft on our behalf.

Analytics and cookies

We use Vercel Analytics and Ahrefs Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. Neither sets cookies or identifies you personally.

We'd also like to use Google Analytics, which gives us more detail about how people find and use the site. It sets cookies (_ga and _ga_*, lasting up to two years) and Google may process the data outside the UK. It only runs if you click Accept on our cookie banner, and our legal basis for it is your consent. You can change your mind at any time from the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page, or change it here.

We also save a couple of small preferences in your browser's local storage, such as your cookie choice and whether you've unlocked one of our free resources. These never leave your device.

Who else handles your data

We use a small number of suppliers to run the site and the business: Vercel (hosting and analytics), Ahrefs (analytics), Google (analytics, only with your consent) and Microsoft (email, calendar and calls). They process data for us under their own data protection terms.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent you've given. Email hello@your-ikigai.co.uk and we'll respond within a month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, though we'd appreciate the chance to put it right first.

Changes

If we change how we use your data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
